Replacement Of Air Conditioning Systems

May 5, 2017by Troy BettineschiAir ConditioningElectricalService & RepairUncategorized0

The air conditioning sector, like all white goods in your home, is constantly evolving to be more efficient. Even if your old air conditioner still works fine, there are several reasons that might mean it’s time for a replacement.

The latest generation of air conditioning units are the quietest models on the market yet. If you’re sick of listening to that loud air conditioner it may be time to think about replacing it with a new energy efficient Inverter system. Replacing the existing unit with a modern reverse cycle or wall mounted split system can use up to 50%* less power.

Whilst the older air conditioning system may look like its performing ok they do use unnecessary power due to the way it operates. The extra dollars spent on your power bill for the running of your old air conditioning system can be recouped within 5 years with a new system – depending on the size/application of the system.

New air-conditioners are equipped with far superior electrical performance with the inverter technology and the air purifier filtration system, which means a new air conditioner provides much cleaner air for your home. If you suffer from hay fever or are an asthmatic replacing an old air conditioner can assist with minimising these respiratory issues.

Clean air for your family, quieter operation and a lower power bill are all even the more reason to upgrade your air conditioning today. Call us if you’re interested in finding out just how we can help you achieve these results.

Regular Preventative Maintenance – Yes or No?

April 17, 2017by Troy BettineschiAir ConditioningElectricalService & RepairUncategorized0

The short answer is yes. All the time we hear people complaining about how on a hot day their air conditioner doesn’t work properly, or breaks down. This can be avoided with regular maintenance. The truth is it’s considerably more expensive to replace a broken unit, than it is to get regular preventative maintenance on your air conditioning.

An air conditioning system needs to be kept in really good working order to ensure the optimal performance in running costs, air purity, noise output and performance. One of our experienced members of our service technicians can ensure that everything is in working order.

Regular maintenance ensures the best air quality by ensuring that all of your filters are clean or brand-new making sure to keep out dust, pollen, mould spores, and other particulates which regularly irritate respiratory systems of you and your children.

Most of the emergency repair services that we are called out to could be prevented if those homeowners observed routine preventative maintenance. Failing parts and poor airflow could have been discovered early and corrected before they resulted in a catastrophic failure.

Ask yourself when was the last time you had one of or Service technicians around to service your air conditioner.  If it’s been longer than a year since the last time a professional had a look at your air-conditioning unit give us a call to arrange a time to service your system at your convenience.

Regular Servicing

March 20, 2017by Troy BettineschiAir ConditioningElectricalService & RepairUncategorized0

We recommend that you get your air conditioner serviced at least once per year. There are 3 signs that your air conditioner isn’t performing the way it is supposed to. If you notice any of these you should have one of our experienced service technicians perform a service on your air conditioning system.

Inconsistent Temperature

If your air conditioner is cooling the house one day and not up to the task of the next, chances are that something is making your air conditioner work harder than it needs to. A quick appointment with us can determine if something simple is wrong and we can rectify it on the spot.

Power usage usually goes up in summer, but is also true that most products are using less power now than ever before. What type of Air Conditioning Do You Need??

March 5, 2017by Troy BettineschiAir ConditioningService & RepairUncategorized0

Wall mounted split systems are the most common air-conditioning system in Australia. Ducted air conditioning systems are more deluxe models.

Both systems have pros and cons and we wanted to arm you with the best information to help you making the choice of what your home needs.

Wall mounted split systems are considerably cheaper than ducted air-conditioning systems. They are relatively easy to install which means small installation costs.

Unfortunately a wall mounted split system can only cool one specified area, whereas a ducted system can do the whole house or the required areas by zoning the area’s accordingly. Ducted systems are a more expensive up front cost, but you have the luxury of cooling down the house as required.

Ducted systems can be a far better choice than a multiple split systems. It’s quite common these days for people to install a split system in their lounge room and a second in their bedroom, but if you want to cool down every room in your house the ducted system is by far the superior.

Most Australians are quite happy with their wall mounted split systems, although most of our customers prefer to have a ducted system if the budget allows for it.

If you’re having to choose between these two different types of air conditioner and need some advice or guidance please fell free to give us a call and allow us to help you make the decision easier for you.
